January 4th, 2010- so far, the keeping of the room is going pretty good. it's amazing what the power of true organization can do #
- "go ask your daddy for a sandwhich, I'm at work." … Chloe: "You're at work?" *raises curtain* "This isn't work" #
- Lydia: "I wish Rachel was our sister." Eliana: "Me too" *continue to stare longingly out the window in the direction of her house* #
- all three of the girls have a cough
# - oh no! Eliana has a new tooth coming in and it is behind two baby teeth. Both are loose, and she working on them. #
Today a woman and her three girls were in HobLob – Grandma was with them. The girls were very eager for the attention of their Grandma, showing her all sorts of things – they weren’t disrespectful.
I couldn’t stand it – after awhile as they went past the end of the isle where I was working I told them, “That’s enough – I need to go to AL and see my granddaughters.” I offered to take theirs for awhile, the momma said I would not want them after ten minutes. I assured her they could stay with me for awhile – that I was sure I could handle at least twenty minutes:)
I am looking forward to seeing this wonderful organization, and to looking out the window wanting something to do:)
