My Silly Lydia

The other day, Lydia told me that Ya-Ya has “bad” at her house. I was stumped, trying to figure out what she was trying to say. Until finally she said, “noooo, baaaad, and it goes around and around and around”, and she moved her hands around like she was moving something. I remembered that when they played “trouble” at Grandma’s house, she kept calling it “bad”. So I asked her if she meant trouble, and she said, “Yeah!” :) We had bought Trouble for them and I sent it to Deb’s the day before.

Then last night, I was on the phone with Dad when Debra beeped in. She tried two times, so I got off the phone with Dad and called her back. She told me that Lydia had put a crayon in her nose and the tip of it was broke off and they couldn’t get it out.  I wasn’t worried in the least, I started laughing. When I was about 3 years old, I stuck beads up my nose, and Mom and Dad had to take me to the emergency room. So they were trying everything. They couldn’t get it with tweezers or with a bulb syringe because it was too small. So I said, what about a turkey baster? They tried that and it did move some, but then she sniffed it right back up. Amanda said that she just wanted to get up and go watch cartoons. So Chris took her to the after hours clinic, and they got it out. Poor baby, she just wanted to watch cartoons, who’s worried about some nose problem. lol

Speaking of cartoons, I saw a commercial on Noggin just a few minutes ago that said starting December 31st, Noggin will run 24 hours a day! That’s great news! Now if they are wanting to watch TV no matter what time of day it is, I absolutely know for sure that it will be wholesome, educational shows. Yippee!!

You would of just had to been here! I’m in the dinning rm w/ Amanda reading her Anatomy book to her for he finals. Lydia was in my bedroom on the bed watching cartoons. Walter and Patrick was in the living rm watching a Pirate movie, and they were closer to her than me. All the sudden I heard her crying, I’m just a little girl, I’m just a little girl” I don’t want to go to the Dr. It’s just a crayon” I came in and asked what did you do? A blank look came over face, then the look I’m in trouble. Me and Amanda worked for about 15 min, with out any visit from the guys! Till I came and called Chris, The pirate movie must have been real interesting!. they paused the movie and came in and decided they could do it. Well they didn’t!!!! so Chris came and got her and Patrick went with them to the Dr.

But you know I hope if I ever have an emergency around my son and husband there is no interesting movie on!
